There are various forms of ready-to-eat meals. It is also abbreviated as RTE. The RTE’s offered by Food Forge are frozen to maintain its best quality and can be served within minutes after reheating with a microwave or a steamer.

Non-dictionary answer – When cooking is too daunting or when you are just too busy *cough or lazy cough* but still want a real meal, we are here for you. No need to spend valuable time shopping, prepping, washing, cooking aaaand then washing again. And after all that — oops you’re hungry again.

Just follow these steps:

If reheating with Microwave (Recommended)

Step 1: Pierce the plastic film at both sides using a fork or a sharp tool. It is not necessary to remove the packaging.

Step 2: Place the tray in the microwave and reheat it for the time indicated on respective products’ label. For details, refer to the instructions on packaging.

Step 3: Contents are extremely hot. Use caution when removing the tray from microwave and tearing off the plastic film. Enjoy the meal!

If reheating with Steamer

Step 1: Prepare water in a pot and bring to a boil.

Step 2: Remove the entire plastic film from tray and steam for around 10 to 15 minutes. Steaming time varies by steamer.

Step 3: Use caution when removing the tray from the steamer and enjoy your meal!

Food Forge products have an average shelf life of at least 1 year from the date of production (unless stated otherwise on the product’s packaging). Our products are sourced fresh from local suppliers and then cooked and rapidly frozen, packaged and sent directly to your doorstep.

Please keep it frozen at -18 °C during storage to maintain the quality of the food.

We do not add preservatives in our food, which is why we have to freeze our products.

Most of our products are halal certified by JAKIM, the ones that are not (yet) are halal-friendly. 

All our products are halal-friendly, which means we strictly do not use non-halal products. All of our products are pork-free and alcohol-free. We source our produce from halal certified suppliers.

Same with purchasing other products, consumers are advised to always check the ingredient list for each product thoroughly before consumption.

Since we offer multiple products, it is best for you to refer to the ingredients list stated on the respective variants’ label.

Do take note that traces of allergy-prone ingredients may still be present across all products as they are cooked in the same facility.

Our food is made out of ingredients that you would find in a grocery stores or a supermarket. With that said, we do not know if you have any underlying conditions or allergies, so it is best to consult a medical professional if you are in doubt. Anyway, congrats!

Don’t worry! Our food can be stored in the chiller for 3 days*. So if you plan to consume a few meals within 3 days of receiving, you can keep those in the chiller and store the rest in your freezer.

Please note that the timing for reheating from chilled condition is different compared to when reheating from frozen.

We only ship to certain areas within the Klang Valley. With that said if you are able to pay and checkout your selections, it means that delivery is available in your area.

We are working hard to expand our presence throughout the Klang Valley and hopefully with your support, throughout Malaysia.

There is no minimum order amount as a flat shipping fee will be charged for delivery.

If you are not home or unreachable during delivery, your order will be left at your door. Due to safety and logistics reasons, we are unable to make the return trip or delivery at a different time. Which is why you have to ensure that you are absolutely free during the time slot you have selected.
